I just had to share my little superheros...Captain America and Wonder Woman (no, they are not shy in front of the camera!)

I know one day they will NOT like this picture, but for now I LOVE it!

I can be rest assured that I will be protected this Halloween!

Kindergarten....

It has been two weeks since my baby girl started kindergarten and she is loving it! We are all getting into the swing of a new routine and little brother is adjusting to going to summer camp all by himself without his big sis and he is doing well also. I am still so sad that my sweet little baby girl is in kindergarten but I am happy that she is making new friends and is having a great time!

I snapped a few photos of my sweet little girl this past weekend for a "kindergarten mini photoshoot" that I thought I would share of few of my fav's...

This was her actual first day of school....

I love that I captured her in her moments of looking at books, drawing and writing....all the thing she LOVES to do! I love my sweet little girl, and she will always be my little girl!

The Sweetest Tea Party

My daughter was invited to my sweet friend Amanda's (from Assorted Lovelies) little girls Tea Party and it was ADORABLE. Amanda made all the decorations herself, and all the details were fabulous. All the food and tea was provided by non other than my sweet Mother in Love, Sandie (from English Rose Teas). The best part about this cute little 4th birthday was that it was a tea for the mommies too (my kind of  relaxing party!) Christmas through the lens...

Do you ever take the time to photograph your life at Christmas, not just the parties, or decorating the tree, visiting Santa, etc.... I mean your house at Christmas time, the things you do, the crafts you make, the stories you read, the cookies you bake, the real moments that make Christmas! Here are a few of my favorite moments of this busy season. I encourage you to snap a few pics of the things around your house that make Christmas, well, Christmas!

An Amazing Photographer...Marisela Photography

I just had to share a sneak peak of our photo shoot we had with my wonderful, talented, amazing best friend Chela from Marisela Photography. She does such great work, she always captures the best moments even when your kids have had enough! Let's face it taking pictures with two little busy kiddos who both have the attention span of about 10 minutes max can be a challenge when you want to take lots of pictures. My favorite quote from this day was from my son Ethan after 20 minutes of taking pictures "taking pictures is NOT fun"! Well I am sure glad that you can't tell that from any of these pictures! Chela you did an amazing job as always.

Journals

I love getting my weekly emails from The Creative Place, she is great at journaling and always has simple, yet meaningful crafts and ideas. This week she featured her Autumn Journal and I love it! Keeping a journal with simple pictures is such a great way to capture sweet memories, especially if you have a little DIY album that you can customize to how simple or extravagant you would like. I am going to start doing this. I am also excited because today's post was that she was working on her Christmas Journals, these would be perfect for my December Daily by Ali Edwards that I will do again this year (that will be a whole other post and comes to find out that Ashley over at The Creative Place does these too). The best part is that she sells these journals on her Etsy shop, so if you're not so crafty or feeling like you have time (because who really does around this season) you can buy one.
